Wherever Life Plants You, Bloom With Grace

A few days back I left my office at about 6 o'clock in the evening and I was heading towards the parking. On my way, I noticed a plant called Tacoma with beautiful yellow flowers. I immediately took out my phone and took the above picture. This plant with beautiful flowers was very pleasing to the eyes. This plant was not planted there on purpose. Yet somehow it managed to find enough soil, water, and nutrients to grow itself. What are the odds that it grows up in such a tiny gap between the concrete pavers and a brick wall?

This plant immediately seeded a thought in my mind.

We often complain in our lives about not being in a place we desire or not getting things we wish for. Some even grieve throughout their life failing to realize that the life they had could have been lived better had they focused on different things.

You are feeling you are not where you want to be, you are supposed to be somewhere else. Say you could snap your finger and be wherever you wanted to be. I bet you'd still feel this way. Not in the right place. The point is, you can't get so hung up where you'd rather be that you forget how to make the most of where you are. Take a break from worrying about what you can't control. Even if you get a chance to live the life you desire, you will still be yearning for another.

The most important thing is to realize that happiness is not about getting all you want, it's about enjoying all you have. It's about letting go of what you thought your life was suppose to be and just embracing where you are now.

I know it is easier said than done. But, the important factor here is which part of your life you decide to focus on. For example, take a look at the plant above. The moment it got a chance, it clinged on.

Following are some of the suggestions that can help you manage this feeling:

1. Practice mindfulness.

2. Don't fall into the trap of comparison.

3. Failure is not the end, it is rather a way for a new beginning.

4. Set new and realistic goals.

5. Regularly write down things you're grateful for, no matter how small.

Always remember, 'Wherever Life Plants You, Bloom With Grace'.

To conclude, I would like to add these beautiful lines from IG:

'Jo Sapno Ke Peeche Nahi Bhaaga, Usse Ek Waqt Baad Jaa Kar Yeh Baat Lagegi Ki Sapno Ke Peeche Dauda Jaa Sakta Tha. Aur Jo Sapno Ke Peeche Bhaag Raha Hai Usse Kisi Roz Yeh Baat Lagegi Ki Apno Ke Liye Rukha Jaa Sakta Tha. Har Aadmi Ke Apne Apne Malal The Aur Reh Jaayenge! Koi Farak Nahi Padta Ki Aap Kis Cheez Ko Chase Kar Rahe Hai'.

Until next blog, Ciao.
